Dr. Kalpana Nikam Suradkar
A specialist in Diabetology and Critical Care, Dr. Kalpana is an alumnus of the prestigious Grant Medical College and the renowned JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai.
A pioneer Physician MD in Gen Medicine, Dr. Kalpana is practising for over 25 years. She prides herself on her 50 bedded and NABH Accredited Multispecialty Hospital in Thane, Maharashtra. As a proficient and accomplished Physician, she is experienced in treating 10,000+ patients in critical care and diabetes.
A successful Physician, who has conducted 500+ Diabetes Patient education programmes, lectures for Medical Practitioners, served as a faculty in TERANA Medical College New Mumbai, serving the residents of Thane through the Indian Red Cross Society and Jupiter Hospital as an Honorary Physician.
As a contributing member of the Rotary and Innerwheel Clubs, she has conducted 400+ mass health camps for helping people with general health check-ups and Diabetes detection.
Dr. Kalpana was the Chairperson of the Association of Physicians of India (Thane Branch) from 2008 to 2010, Vice Chairman of IMA Thane from 2013 to 2015, also the Editor of the illustrious IMA magazine for 3 years, and authored many articles in the Times of India to educate people about Pre-Diabetes and Preventive Diabetes care. She is a dexterous planner, who successfully has organised medical conferences at the state and national levels.
A multitalented professional, whose desire to learn, do and service more sets her apart from her contemporaries. A lifelong learner, Dr. Kalpana holds a Diploma in Child Health, is a Yoga practitioner and a post-graduate in Management. Her interpersonal, communication and networking skills are equally raved about by her patients, staff and peers.
